“Shell” reflects on the transience of human existence. Yet transience here does not signify an end. Instead, it becomes a process of continuous renewal—a cycle of death and rebirth.

Composed of individual ceramic elements, the sculpture has no fixed configuration. Each time it is exhibited, its components can be rearranged, allowing the work to take on a new form. This continuous potential for transformation extends the idea of transience into the physical structure of the work.

Natural forms emerging throughout the sculpture suggest a different rhythm of growth—one that exists independently of the accelerated pace of contemporary life.
